This knife is part of an exclusive New Zealand collection, featuring the artwork of Hawkes Bay artist Sam Poots.  Sam is an artist based in New Zealand and branding herself as ‘ART OF POOTS’. She specialises in a technique called pointillism or known as ‘stippling’. This is a style of drawing which involves using dots of ink or distinct colour to create illusion of form.
The red warmth of coral wood contrasts finely here with this Deejo all in black as a necessity of elegance. Coral wood (or Padauk) is an abundant wood traditionally used in cutlery for its exquisite red and amber highlights (the reason for its name), its robustness, and its exceptional resistance to humidity. Coral wood exquisitely highlights the elegance of a Deejo knife.
